Recipe #36- Roast

Roasts are one of the most versatile recipes out there- it's super easy to make and you can adjust what you want to put in there- plus, roasts are often in the "clearance" meat section at my local Food Lion AND there is always enough for leftovers!

Drag out your handy dandy crockpot.

You'll Need:
Roast
Onion
Carrots
Potatoes
Gravy

Get a roast- I don't care what size you get, as long as it fits in your crockpot and will feed your family :).

Chop your carrots, onions and potatoes. Does your family not like onions? Then don't use them. Don't like carrots? Leave those out. I use whole baby carrots and then chop my potatoes in to roughly 1 inch cubes.

I put half the veggies on the bottom, toss in the roast, then dump the other half of the veggies on top.

Pour in a 10 oz. can of beef gravy. Store brand is perfect!

That's it! Set your crockpot on high for 3-4 hours or 7-8 on low.

Your entire meal is in one pot! Yay!
